Automatic Temperature Controlled Fan using IRFZ44 Mosfet

The Automatic Temperature Controlled fa working based on a single IRFZ 44 mosfet with few electronic components. Lets build a simple fan controller with our guidance. The automatic temperature controlled fan turn on when a desired temperature region is approached near to the temperature sensor. In that timer the circuit will get turn on and power up the cooling fan connected with the IRFZ 44 Mosfet.

Components Required

  • IRFZ 44 N channel Mosfet
  • 103 NTC
  • 12v Cooling fan
  • 2.2k resistor
  • Power supply

Connection

Connect mosfet Drain pin to the cooling fan connection and also to the 10K NTC. The other connection of NTC is connected to the Gate pin of the Mosfet. The gate pin and NTC 10k common connection pin are connected to the ground using 2.2k Resistor. A 12v DC battery or adapter is connected to the negative and positive polarity of the circuit.
