The home electrical wiring contains 4 Led lights , 2 Fans, 1 Tube light, and 1 tv. The total wattage require is calculated as.

4 LED light4 * 25 w = 100w
2 FAN2*80 = 160w
1 TV1* 50 w = 50w
1 Tube Light1* 40 =40w
Total watts needed350 watts

Inverter size selection calculation

  • House load is 350 watts
  • consider 50% load on inverter so 350*2 = 700watts

So you need to select a 1000 watts rated inverter for smooth working of home appliances with no issues in future. The DC current required for loading 350 watts is calculated as

P = V * I

I = p / v

P = 350 watts V = 12 v from the battery

So,

I = 350/12 = 29.12 = 30A

30 A current will takes by the inverter so we need to calculate the battery Ah also.

Battery size AH selection

Battery AH = W * H / V

Watts = 350, H = 8 hour, V = 12v

Battery AH = 350 * 8 / 12

The required battery Ah is 233 Ah, in common standard rating of battery Ah you needs to select a 250 Ah battery.
