Formula for Calculating Resonant Frequency and Q factor

The resonant frequency LRC circuit is calculated using the following formula,

  • f is the resonant frequency
  • L is the inductance value of the inductor.
  • C is the capacitance value of the connected capacitor.

The Q factor of series connected RLC circuit is calculated using the following formula of,

  • where Q is represented as the Q factor
  • R is the resistance value of resistor
  • L is the inductance value of connected inductor
  • C is the capacitance value.
