How the C2383 Transistor Works

The C2383 is an NPN transistor, which means the P junction is sandwich with two N junctions. In the initial state, the transistor is in the OFF condition, and there is no electricity passing through it.

Once a small positive voltage is reached on the base pin, it allows the current to flow through the collector to the emitter pin. The base currents stop the flow of current though collector to the emitter, also get stopped.

C2383 Transistor Equivalent and Replacement

Direct equivalents are KSC2383, 2SC3228, BTC2030A3, STC2073L. Other common substitutes are 2SD669, MJE340 and TIP41C. Always check the Pinout, Pin configuration and voltage ratings before replacing with other transistors.
