Building a power amplifier is not an easy task, but in this post i would like to share the best bass boosting audio amplifier circuit with less external components. This audio amplifier is working based on the common TDA2030 audio amplifier IC.
The additional power transistors of 2sc5200 and 2sa 1943 are added. These power transistors push the high current to the output stage depending on the output from the tda2030 IC. The Circuit diagram and its power supply circuit are also included in this post.

Explanation and Working
The amplifier circuit is tested and working fine with the 15v DC supply. You can easily attach it with the subwoofer to make a powerful subwoofer amplifier. The power transistors of 2sc5200 and 2SA1943 act as the power boosting of the amplifier.
You need to provide adequate aluminum heatsink to protect the IC and transistor from overheating issues. The amplifier will produce a large amount of the heat due to the addition of two power transistors in the output stage.
Power Supply
The power supply is important, because the TDA2030 amplifier IC does not need much higher voltage, it requires only a 15 V DC dual power supply to work fine. Soyou need to install a 12-0-12V 3A transformer to safely run the audio amplifier.Â
Using a 10A diode on the rectification circuit will lower the wastage of energy by heat because the 10 ampere diode is able to handle the power up to 10 amps.

Hi. Can I replace the 5200 and 1943 transistors on the tda 2030 amp with 5168 and 1941 transistors. I have a 16 0 16 power supply to use. Thanks for a awesome site. Jacques. Ps Stuff here have stupid high price tags. I have to use salvaged parts from old equipment to build myself a decent guitar amp and pre-amp. Should be around the 40w output into an 8ohm driver.
Properly check the Datasheet of the replacing transistor and connect it
