The supply voltage of this operational amplifier is about 1.8v dc. The ic will provide low crossover distributions in the amplifier circuit. The tda2822 having low quiescent current.

It mainly used as a dual audio amplifier circuit or stereo audio amplifier. The ic is most commonly uses is a mini-cassette player and radios.

Connection of Tda2822 amplifier circuit

The connections or circuit is very simple to construct on a breadboard or doted PCB. Few components are needs for working the amplifier circuit. the components are:

  • Tda2822 ic
  • 10k liner pot
  • 1uf 25v capacitor
  • 1000uf 25v capacitor
  • 3-9 v battery

Connecting ic pin number 6 and 7 to the potentiometer to adjust the input audio signals.

Pin number 2 is connecting to the positive terminal of the battery.

Pin number 4 – negative input voltage pin.

The ic pin 5 and 6 is connected together, that are grounded by using a 1uf 25v capacitor.

Ic pin number 1 and pin number 3 is the audio output pins. it will be connected to the speaker through a 1000uf 25v capacitor.
