Place the solar panel at the maximum of light getting area. The charging time of the battery is depending on the power of the solar panel. If you are using 100 amperes 12-volt battery so I recommending 300 watts solar panel.

when using the 300 Watts solar panel the 100-ampere 12-volt battery will get fully charged within 4 hours – 5 hours.

Daytime, the battery gets fully charged. in the night time, the battery will be discharged due to the working of the inverter. You can make an automatic process by using an LDR circuit.
