2sc5200 2sa1943 Amplifier circuit diagram

2sc5200 2sa1943 Audio amplifier produces a high power output. The output watts is around 200 at 4 ohms load of impedance. The 2sc 5200 and 2sa 1943 are new-generation audio power amplifier transistors. Nowadays the audio power amplifier such as Subwoofer audio amplifier those transistor-based amplifiers are using. You can also make this amplifier as a bridge amplifier to double the power output. so in this article, I would like to share the circuit diagram and working of the power transistor amplifier.

In our Ahuja and other branded audio amplifiers companies, who are used 2N3055 and 2N2955 transistors as for making amplifiers. People want the best audio quality systems. The power amplifiers are different types most of the power amplifiers built with IC or MOSFET.

You know the different classes of audio amplifiers like ab class amplifiers B class amplifiers etc. 2sc 5200 and 2sa 1943 are powerful NPN and PNP transistors are respectively.

The circuit consists of a preamplifier IC which will amplify the input audio signal. For the pre-amplification purpose the 4558 IC is using. The 4558 IC operational amplifier will increase the amplitude of the input signal to high.

Let’s talk about the input voltage of the power amplifier is a 30-volt dual power supply at 5 amperes of current. Use good quality DC filtering capacitor and diodes. In my suggestion use 5-ampere bridge diode and 4700uf capacitor. Proper grounding should be tested otherwise the humming sound will arise. you need to connect the ground wire on the cabinet of the amplifier and the volume control and the other body metal parts of the amplifier to minimize the noise when it works.

2sc5200 transistor equivalent is TTC 5200, and 2sa1943 TTA 1943 is using. If you didn’t get those to 2sc type of transistor you can also use this transistor as an equivalent.

2sa 1943 is a complementary transistor of 2sc 25200. Is a medium power PNP transistor. This transistor is originally from Toshiba. Due to the high current gain another collector current transistor is used for high power audio amplifier circuits.

2SA 1943 and 2SC 5200 transistors are commonly using in the high end audio stereo systems that can be rated us 200 or above watts. They can handle the frequency response from 5 hz 200 khz. 10 pair of transistors having very less signal to noise ratio and the total harmonic distribution is making it the ideal transistor for the audio amplifiers.
