220V Solar Inverter Circuit

Hi, here I am introducing a 220V Solar Inverter Circuit Diagram for electronics hobbyists. The entire circuit diagram is working based on SG3525 PWM Oscillator IC. The IC is commonly available in most SMPS circuits and also computer equipment.

The 220v solar inverter board will convert the input 200-300v solar panel DC input to 220V AC 50Hz output. To get a 220 or 300v DC from the solar panel, you need to connect 3 or more panels in series. This will make a high voltage range.

The PWM IC produces frequency to switch on and off the H Bridge MOSFET section. The MOSFET is driven by using IR2104 IC. The low side and high side of the IC pins are connected to the IRF840 Mosfets. The power MOSFET can handle 500V 80A.

The 100 k pot is connected in 6 and ground, this will be used for the fine-tuning of output 50Hz frequency. The connected resistor and capacitors in PINs 6 and 5 determine the frequency in the output stage.

The 7812 regulator IC is used to power the SG3525 Ic and IR2104 driver IC. The MOSFET gate pin is connected using 10 10-ohms resistor for gate voltage limiting.

You can also add a capacitor bank to the input voltage section of 400v DC to get more filtered DC voltage to the Mosfets. You need to add an extra buck convert for powering the IC the input voltage is 300-400v so you need a high voltage operating buck converter to step down the 300v DC supply to a 12v supply.

You can also use this circuit diagram with an SMPS. The required smps is a 12V to 220V DC converter. If you want to know how to build a 12v to 220v Dc inverter Check this Link
