200 Watt Transistor Amplifier Perfect for 4-Ohm Speakers

Two pairs of 2C5200 and 2SA1943 power transistors will deliver up to 200 W power at 4 ohms speakers. The circuit requires a few external components. This amplifier circuit is very suitable for your Sabu amplifier or Home stereo amplifiers.

The 2SC5200 and 2SA1943 transistors are high power high fidelity and are commonly used in power audio amplifier systems. They are a complementary pair of transistors. This means this is designed to work together in a push pull configuration.

The Push pull configuration is used widely in the Audio amplification sector. The 2C5200 is an NPN transistor and 2SA1943 is a PNP type of transistor. The two transistors are very popular due to its high power handling capacity, load distortion and high gain characteristics. This complementary pair of transistors is most commonly found in high Power Audio amplifier systems. 

Output Watt of 2SC5200 and 2SA1943 Amplifier

The given circuit diagram of the amplifier is able to deliver 200 W RMS at 4 ohms speaker. If you are using an 8 ohms speakers, then the voltage will be half to the RMS value. That means at 8 ohm speakers can deliver up to hundred watts RMS.
