1000 watts audio amplifier circuit using TTA 1943 and TTC 5200 transistor. These transistors are very popular in an audio amplifier. Here is the circuit of 1000 watts in this circuit we can use 10 transistors that means 5 number of TTC 5200 and 5 numbers of TTA 1943 transistor.
We know that the words is equal to do the multiplication of voltage and the ampere.
Power = voltage x Ampere
So here we can use 70 voltage maximum. This transistor can take up to 1.3 amperes so here in this circuit, we can use then transistors.
That means the maximum ampere can utilize the 10 transistors is 13 ampere.
10 x 1.3 = 13 ampere.
so we concluded that the 10 transistors will give the appropriate watts in the output section of the amplifier.
The circuits work with 70 volts and 15 amperes. Show the maximum power output is 70 x 15 = 1050 watts output.
Features of TTC 5200 TTA 1943 transistor
The TTC 5200 is an NPN transistor designed for a general purpose power amplifier and switching application.
What is the reason that Toshiba rebuilds the 2sc5200 transistors? Is the TTC 5200 better?
The answer to this question is guessing that the lower cost of the TTC 5200 indicates smaller die, so it’s less expensive to manufacturers but with almost the same specification as the 2sc5200. the lower price of the TTC 5200 seems to confirm that however, I have not destroyed one of each to actually check the die size.
TTC 5200 transistor specification
The TTC 5200 from Toshiba company.is an NPN silicon transistor TO- 3P package. This device is commonly used for power amplification.
