The TDA7294 IC will provide the hundred Watts RMS at 8 ohms speaker. It is a class AB audio power amplifier designed specially for Hifi audio systems. The ic has a DMOS output stage. The working voltage is about +/- 30v dual power supply. The TDA7294 IC has low noise and low distortion, and the IC can work a wide range of supply voltage. The IC has built-in short circuit protection and thermal shutdown circuits. The IC will be available in multi-watt 15V and multiwatt 15H packaging.
100 WATTS Audio Amplifier
Description:
The TDA7294 is configured to provide the peak RMS output of 100watts RMS into an 8-ohm speaker at a 30v dual power supply. C8 is the input coupling capacitor and the capacitor connected to the non-inverting input of the IC PIN 3. The C3 and C9 are the power supply filtering capacitors, while C10 and C4 are bypass capacitors. The RC network comprising the R1 and C1 improves the high-frequency stability of high-frequency audio signals. The S1 and S2 switch is represented as the mute and standby mode.
TDA 7294 Amplifier Circuit Schematics:
Note:
- The input supply voltage range is +/- 12v to +/- 35v Dual power supply DC.
- A big heat sink is required and the thermal resistance should be around 0.038 degrees Celsius.
- For proper working use 150W 8 Ohm speakers at load.
- For 100W output use +/- 30v DC.
- The power supply should be well-filtered and free from ripple.
- Frequency response is from 20HZ to 20KHz.
