Things you needs to build PCB etching machine

2 Big sized plastic boxes.
Metal window hinges.
Dc stepper motor.
Hot glue gun.
Soldering iron
DC motor speed control board.
CD Marker.
AC adapter 9V.

Steps to build

You need to choose a big size plastic container. One is big in size and the second one is smaller than the first one. The big size plastic container is for fixing the electric motor. the second small box is using as an etching chamber.

Find medium-sized window hinges – The window hinges are for proper etching chamber movement. The hinges should be very small. you can also use 2 windows hinges for multi-directional support of the etching chamber.

Place the small size plastic container upon the big plastic container. After the alimenting the boxes place the window hinges on the center of the small box.

Mark the holes to drill. you needs to use a CD marker to mark the point you want to screw. Placing dots on the two boxes attached with the window hinges.

Buy small nut and bolts from the nearest electrical or electronic shops. and tight the hinges with nuts.

Place a small holes on the side of the big plastic box and attach the stepper motor or gear motor in that hole. here i am using 60 rpm mini gear motors.

Attach a chuck on the shaft of the gear motor for proper rotation to up and down the etching chamber.

Add extra motor speed control board. This is an optional method if you are worried about the board leave it. You can also use this diy PCB etcher without the speed control board.
