TDA7850 Amplifier IC Pinout and Circuit Diagram

The TDA7850 is a 4×50 w MOSFET quad bridge power amplifier IC, most common in car audio amplifiers or 4 channel surround audio systems. If you are planning to build a 4 channel surround amplifier board this IC is the best choice for you.

Each channel of output pins is coming from the IC. There is no common grounding for the speakers. So you don’t connect the speaker pins to the ground. This is because the IC is designed as Bridge mode to Boost the output RMS of the amplifier.

TDA7850 Amplifier board connections

You will see the OUT1+ and OUT1- terminal for speaker connections, connecting each speaker directly to the proper connection pins. The IC has the speaker out and each channel will deliver the maximum output watts of 50W at 4 ohms speaker.
